Why not just use the analog rgb firmware and make the cable? No converter needed.

You can do the mod to get the dot clock from the Kawari, then you can remove the 8701 from the motherboard and Swiftlinks and REUs will work on the cartridge port.

My Dot Clock Mod (Large board, spartan chip)
Here's how I did the dot clock mod for a 250466 motherboard. First I removed the 8701 from the motherboard and attached a female dupont cable to a via that connects to dot clock. https://i.imgur.com/8Ym20xT.jpeg Now the hard part.
